In case anyone is wondering, I like severe variety when i spin music. so what better to follow Extinct Government's raging punk than a little 80's anime OST? I bought this one for a friend who has dibs on it, so it's considered sold at this point, but since i'm spinning it i figured i'd add it to my 'reviews'. or blurbs. or advertisements. or whatever the fuck. There are some elements to this OST that i really like. I mean, it's 80's anime. so you should know about what you are getting in to, right? there's some funky awesomeness, and there's some sappy cheese. a half a bottle of wine helps the situation (shit, its saturday night and i just got done a 64 hour work week, alright. some i'm home drinking wine and spinning tunes. don't judge.) anyway, this one isn't a standout by any means. its no classic ost to put on your all-time-anything list. but damn, its got a decent vibe. i actually have never seen any of the Project A-ko films or ova's or whatever... i'd love to change that, but shit, i almost NEVER have time for anime anymore. but it sounds like its pretty weird. despite how weird it sounds, the ost for this one is pretty normal sounding.. so i dunno. i'm on track 8 right now which is loungy and jazzy and has a sexy saxophone. shit. life is good.
SOLD, BITCHES.
